New Delhi: The animated film "Mahavatar Narasimha" has broken all records by performing brilliantly at the box office. This film, which started at a slow pace in the beginning, gradually started earning tremendously on the strength of word-of-mouth. Now it is earning crores of rupees not only on weekends but also on weekdays. In just 15 days, it has made a fantastic collection of Rs 126.25 crores, which is more than the lifetime collection (123.74 crores) of Alia Bhatt's blockbuster film "Raazi."

If you look at the graph of the film's earnings, it earned 44.75 crores in the first week, 73.4 crores in the second week, and 8 crores on the third Friday. This trend has not stopped yet, and the film is continuously making a splash in the theaters.

Seeing the success of the film, the production company Hombale Films has decided not to release it on the OTT platform soon. The company clarified on social media that no OTT deal has been finalized yet, and the film will be available only in theaters for now.

"Mahavatar Narasimha" is the first film of the Mahavtar Cinematic Universe, which was made on a budget of just 15 crores. After its success, now 6 more films of this franchise are going to come, whose names are Mahavtar Parashurama (2027), Mahavtar Raghunandan (2029), Mahavtar Dwarkadhish (2031), Mahavtar Gokulananda (2033), Mahavtar Kalki Part 1 (2035), and Mahavtar Kalki Part 2 (2037).

This film is proving to be a milestone for the Indian animation industry, which has not only performed brilliantly at the box office but has also opened a new way to present Indian mythology on the global level. The success of the film clearly shows that Indian audiences are now ready for high-quality animated content, and this could be the beginning of a new era for Indian cinema.
