Veteran actress Padmini Kolhapure is all set to enthrall the audience in the role of the royal Rajmata in this historical saga. To bring this iconic character alive, Padmini did extensive research and completely immersed herself in the historical and emotional spirit of that time.
Padmini Kolhapure studied ancient texts, folk tales and scholarly writings to understand the complex image of the queen, mother and strategist, who was a major pillar in shaping the legacy of Prithviraj Chauhan.
In a statement with the media, Padmini Kolhapure said, “Playing Rajmata in Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my career. She’s not just a historical figure; she’s a mother, a guide, and a strong presence behind one of India’s greatest warriors.

To understand her better, I didn’t rely only on the script. I read historical texts, folk stories, scholarly articles, and even watched regional documentaries to get a sense of how she might have carried herself."
