According to experts, the human body works according to a biological clock, called circadian rhythm. When we go against this natural timetable and stay up late at night, the body and mind do not get the necessary rest. Due to this, many types of health problems arise.
People who stay awake till late night often eat unhealthy snacks. The reason behind this is that the body demands energy due to being active till late, and we eat anything without thinking. This slows down the metabolism and fat starts accumulating in the body. As a result, weight starts increasing rapidly, which further invites diseases like obesity, high BP and diabetes.
Lack of sleep or irregular sleep directly affects the mood. Irritability, anger, and sadness become common in people who sleep after midnight every day. They get angry over small things or feel sad without any reason. If this situation persists for a long time, it can also take the form of depression and anxiety.
