H3N2 flu in Delhi; Do not take cold and cough lightly
Medical experts say that if you experience a mild fever or the above symptoms for more than three to four days, you should consult a doctor immediately. Children and the elderly are especially at higher risk of this infection because their immune systems are weakened. If timely medical attention is not sought, the flu can become severe and lead to complications like pneumonia.
To prevent this infection, it is essential to take some important precautions. Do not self-administer antibiotics or paracetamol for more than two days without consulting a doctor, as this can worsen the condition. Regular handwashing, maintaining personal hygiene, and being cautious when visiting crowded places, along with using masks and sanitizers, help prevent infection.
