New Delhi: At the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the President of the French Republic, H.E. Emmanuel Macron, will undertake an official visit to India from February 17 to 19, 2026.
During the visit, the two leaders will hold comprehensive discussions aimed at further strengthening bilateral cooperation across a broad range of sectors, in line with the ambitious Horizon 2047 Roadmap. The talks will also cover key regional and global developments, including enhanced cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region.
As part of the visit, Prime Minister Modi and President Macron will jointly inaugurate the India-France Year of Innovation in Mumbai.
The year-long initiative, to be celebrated throughout 2026 in both countries, will showcase collaborative efforts in innovation, technology, research, and entrepreneurship.
On February 19, President Macron will participate in the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi, underlining the growing collaboration between India and France in emerging and critical technologies.
The visit follows Prime Minister Modi’s visit to France in February 2025 and reflects the deep mutual trust, shared values, and expanding scope of the India-France Strategic Partnership. It underscores the commitment of both nations to further elevate their partnership in the years ahead.
