Khalistani Group SFJ Threatens to Seize Indian Consulate in Vancouver
New Delhi: The pro-Khalistan organization Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) in Canada is once again attempting to carry out anti-India activities. The organization has now threatened to surround and seize the Indian Consulate in Vancouver. They have also warned Indian citizens not to approach the embassy.
Recently, diplomatic relations between India and Canada improved again with the arrival of new Indian High Commissioner Dinesh Patnaik to Canada. However, the SFJ is displeased with this development. The organization has released a poster depicting Dinesh Patnaik's face as a gun target. This is being considered a direct threat and attempt to intimidate.

In a statement, the SFJ said it would occupy the embassy on September 18th because it believes the Indian embassy is engaged in espionage activities against it. The SFJ also alleges that Indian agents are conspiring to prevent the Khalistan referendum in Canada.
Most worryingly, an internal report by the Canadian government acknowledged that Khalistani terrorist organizations have a strong presence in the country. The report also stated that these organizations receive funding for anti-India terrorist activities.

Among the organizations named in the report are Babbar Khalsa International and the International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF). Both organizations are listed as terrorist organizations in Canada.
So far, there has been no official statement from either the Indian or Canadian governments on this matter. However, the open threat issued by the SFJ makes it clear that the anti-India Khalistani network in Canada is once again gaining momentum.

This threat by the SFJ not only violates India's sovereignty but also poses a serious threat to Canada's internal security. These radical groups are attempting to undermine the recent improvement in India-Canada relations. Therefore, the governments of both countries should work together to strictly curb such activities.
