Russia fires ballistic missiles into Ukraine
Moscow: At least three people were killed and 17 others injured in Russian missile and drone strikes in Ukraine last night. Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, said one person was killed and ten others injured in a ballistic missile attack in the capital, Kyiv, early Saturday. According to Ukraine's State Emergency Service, three injured were hospitalized.

Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on Telegram during the attack, "Explosion in the capital. The city is under ballistic attack." Vladyslav Havranenko, acting governor of the Dnipropetrovsk region, said two people were killed and seven injured in Russian strikes in the region.
Earlier, Russia claimed it shot down 121 Ukrainian drones on Friday night. The ministry said, "Last night, air defense systems on duty intercepted 121 Ukrainian unmanned aircraft in the air and destroyed them mid-air."
According to the ministry, drones were shot down in several regions: 20 in Rostov, 19 in Volgograd, 17 in Bryansk, 12 in Kaluga, 11 in Smolensk, nine each in Belgorod and Moscow, eight each in Voronezh and Leningrad, two each in Novgorod, Ryazan, and Tambov, and one each in Tver and Tula.
Meanwhile, Kirill Dmitriev, the Russian president's special envoy for economic cooperation with foreign countries and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), said that a summit between Russian and US presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump will take place, but not now; it will take place later.
