New Delhi: India's daughters brought glory to the country in the World Boxing Cup finals. Five boxers, including Nikhat Zareen, Minakshi Hooda, and Preeti Pawar, made history by winning gold medals. Nikhat (51 kg) defeated Chinese Taipei boxer Juan Yi Guo. In addition to Nikhat, Minakshi Hooda (48 kg), Preeti Pawar (54 kg), Arundhati (70 kg), and Nupur Sheoren (80+ kg) also won gold medals.

Nupur (80+ kg) then defeated Uzbekistan's Sotymboeva Oltinoy 5-0 to win the day's fourth gold. Nikhat Zareen defeated Chinese Taipei boxer Juan Yi Guo. This is India's fifth gold medal.
