Mumbai:Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Raj Thackeray visited Matoshree on Sunday to see his brother and Shiv Sena UBT leader Uddhav Thackeray. This gathering took place to celebrate Uddhav's birthday, yet numerous political implications are also being interpreted from it. Raj Thackeray last visited Matoshree around 6 years back and he extended an invitation to the Uddhav family for his son Amit Thackeray's wedding.

Raj Wishes Uddhav a Happy Birthday

Recently, at a rally in Azad Maidan, Mumbai, the Thackeray brothers united on stage, and Raj Thackeray has visited Uddhav's home to meet him. Raj Thackeray's visit to Matoshree is seen as a significant event in Maharashtra's politics, as he had not gone to Matoshree after leaving Shiv Sena, except for a few special instances.

Approximately 13 years ago, Raj Thackeray visited Matoshree as the health of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray declined. Raj Thackeray has independently gone to Matoshree for the first time to greet his brother Uddhav Thackeray on his birthday. This 'brotherhood' is viewed as a significant indication of unity among the Thackeray brothers moving forward.

Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, extended birthday wishes to Uddhav, posting on Instagram, 'Warm wishes and congratulations to Shiv Sena President and INDIA alliance partner Uddhav Thackeray ji on his birthday. Wishing you good health, longevity, and together we shall strive for the rights and interests of Maharashtra's people.

Collaborative Gathering

Earlier this month, Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray conducted a combined rally and appeared together on stage for the first time in two decades. The Marathi Vijay Rally was organized in collaboration by the two leaders. In this rally, Raj Thackeray initially stated that the tasks that Bala Saheb Thackeray or anyone else failed to accomplish, Devendra Fadnavis.

During this time Uddhav had said that we will stay together and that is why we have come together. Taking a dig at BJP, he said that these people have started the policy of use and throw. Now we will throw you out. Uddhav said that no one has a monopoly on Hindutva. You do not need to teach us Hinduism. Fadnavis had said that he will not tolerate hooliganism. But if fighting for your language is hooliganism, then yes we are goons.
