In the ‘Kisan Mahachoupal’ organized in Bhopal, Congress made sharp allegations against the central government against the India-US trade deal. Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge described the agreement as anti-farmer, while Chief Minister Mohan Yadav hit back at the Congress.

Bhopal: Congress organized 'Kisan Mahachoupal' at Jawahar Chowk in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, in protest against the recent trade deal between India and America. Through this program, Congress accused the central government of compromising with the interests of farmers and the country.
According to Dynamite News correspondent, leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, alleged that for the first time in the history of the country, he was not given an opportunity to speak in the House. He said that he wanted to express his views on the issue of Chinese infiltration.

Citing the book of former Army Chief General Naravane, Rahul claimed that when the Chinese intrusion took place, the government left the army alone. He said that this is a serious topic related to national security, which should have been discussed.
Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on the prime minister and said that the trade deal made with America is against the national interest. He alleged that through this agreement, farmers' data and the economic strength of the country have been harmed.
Rahul also said that this deal will have an adverse impact on farmers, the textile industry, and employment. Also, while referring to the matters related to Adani, he said that the government is not taking any action for 14 months.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also targeted the Prime Minister and said that the youth of the country are struggling for employment, but the government is taking decisions under international pressure.
He alleged that the conditions were accepted under pressure from the US President, which has damaged the country's image. Kharge said that Congress is not going to back down on the issues of farmers and youth.
There was an argument and scuffle between the Congress workers and the police regarding reaching the meeting venue. Due to changes in the traffic system, entry from many routes was stopped, due to which there was resentment among the workers. Police tried to control the situation and arranged for entry through alternative routes.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav hit back at Congress and said that the state government works for farmers throughout the year. He asked Rahul Gandhi to apologize to the people of the state and alleged that during the Congress rule, the expansion of irrigation area was very limited, due to which farmers suffered losses.
