New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved a series of major administrative changes across important ministries, according to an order issued on Thursday. Full details on Dynamite News:

1. Manoj Joshi, IAS (KL:89), currently Secretary, Department of Land Resources & Rural Development, has been appointed Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers.

2. V. Vidyavathi, IAS (KN:91), formerly Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, will now serve as Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment.

3. Neeraj Mittal, IAS (TN:92), earlier Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, has been appointed Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, replacing Pankaj Jain, IAS (AM:90).

4. Amit Agrawal, IAS (CG:93), previously Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals, has taken charge as Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, succeeding Neeraj Mittal.

5. Sunil Paliwal, IAS (TN:93), Chairperson, Chennai Port Trust and Chairman, Inland Waterways Authority of India, has been elevated to the rank of Secretary and appointed to the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways.

6. Srivatsa Krishna, IAS (KN:94), currently serving in the Tourism Ministry cadre, has been appointed Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, replacing V. Vidyavathi.

7. Atish Chandra, IAS (BH:94), Special Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office, has been appointed Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, effective 1 February 2026.
