New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday suggested formation of three subgroups on GDP growth, population management and Artificial Intelligence for boosting investment, leveraging demographic advantage and technology-driven governance with the help of AI, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
Mr Naidu who was here to attend the 10th NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting, said the sub-groups would work in collaboration with the Centre and NITI Aayog. The first sub-group on GDP growth would aim at boosting investment, manufacturing, exports and job creation, the second sub-group would help India leverage its demographic advantage while preparing for future challenges and the third would focus on technology-driven governance using AI.
Earlier he paid tributes to the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist massacre and lauded Operation Sindoor. He lauded the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that having the 'right leader at the right time' has been crucial in steering the nation towards its ambitious goals.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday stressed the need for centre and all the states to come together “like Team India” to accelerate the pace of development across the country. “We have to increase the speed of development. If the Centre and all the States come together and work together like Team India, no goal is impossible,” Chairing the 10th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog, PM Modi said.
Those who attended the meeting included Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta, Chief Minister of Odisha Mohan Charan Majhi, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, CM of Himachal Pradesh Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav, and Telangana CM Revanth Reddy.
Also present were Union Ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, JP Naddea, Nitin Gadkari, Rammohan Naidu and HD Kumaraswamy. Emphasising the shared vision of a 'Viksit Bharat' by 2047, PM Modi urged all States to align with the national goal.
“We should have the aim of making each State Viksit, each city Viksit, each Nagar Palika Viksit, and each village Viksit. If we work on these lines, we will not have to wait till 2047 to become a developed nation,” he said.
