New Delhi: A Thar driver badly crushed two people on 11 Murti Road near Chanakyapuri area of ​​Delhi on Sunday morning. In which one person died and another was seriously injured.

The injured has been rushed to the hospital. The car driver has been taken into custody. Delhi Police has started investigation. The place where the incident took place is just 2 km away from Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Liquor bottle also seen from the spot

In a video related to the accident, the forensic team is seen collecting evidence at the spot. A liquor bottle is also visible in it. The body lay on the road for several hours before the police arrived and removed it from the spot. The ANI video clearly shows damage to the front left side of the Thar. There are a lot of scratches on the fender and the hood is slightly crooked. Apart from this, small marks are visible on it.

The person was walking when the Thar crushed him

It is being told that the person who died was walking on the road. Meanwhile, an uncontrolled Thar coming at high speed hit two people. One died on the spot while one was seriously injured. The collision was so severe that the Thar collided with the divider next to it and its front wheel also came out. The Thar driver has been taken into custody and is being questioned.

What did the accused Thar driver say

The accused Thar driver said that he fell asleep while driving, due to which this incident happened. However, the police are now looking at it from the angle of drinking alcohol. The police have started investigating whether the person was drunk or not.
