New Delhi: The next meeting of the Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance (INDIA Bloc) will take place on 7 August at the home of Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi. Sources said that the meeting will happen during dinner and several important matters will be discussed.
Rahul Gandhi recently claimed that about 70 to 80 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections were manipulated. He said, "The Prime Minister won with a very narrow majority, and if even 15 seats had been properly held, he would not have become Prime Minister."
Other topics that will be discussed include the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in Bihar, allegations of fake voter registration in Maharashtra, Operation Sindoor, the Indo-US trade agreement, and a possible tariff threat from US President Donald Trump.
The last meeting was held online on 19 July and was attended by leaders from over 24 parties, including Sharad Pawar, Chief of the NCP-SP, Tejashwi Yadav, leader of the RJD and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Omar Abdullah, current Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Hemant Soren, Chief Minister of Jharkhand, and Uddhav Thackeray, Chief of Shiv Sena UBT.
This time, Farooq Abdullah of the National Conference has also confirmed his attendance. He said he will talk about the SIR process in Bihar, which aims to help the BJP-JDU alliance to win.
Shiv Sena (UBC) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi criticized the Government, saying, "Whether it is the Pahalgam terror attack or Operation Sindoor, the Government is not taking responsibility.
The Prime Minister said Operation Sindoor is still ongoing, but at the same time, the people in the army and government are playing cricket — this is an insult to the martyrs. She also questioned the addition of 45 lakh new voters in Maharashtra and the last-minute voting of 70 lakh people. She also raised concerns about the removal of over 60 voters in Bihar, which has taken away the voting rights of migrant workers. "
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticized the Election Commission, saying, "India's election system is dead. We have proof that the Lok Sabha elections were rigged. About 1.5 lakh fake voters have been found. The Election Commission no longer exists." He claimed that the Congress did a detailed investigation over the last six months, which revealed this.
