New Delhi: A delegation of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) is scheduled to meet Union Minister JP Nadda at 12:00 PM on Friday to discuss its key demands linked to the ongoing protest over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak and reforms in the country’s examination system.
Cockroach Janta Party spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka talking to the media said, "At 12:30 PM, there is a meeting with J.P. Nadda in CCI. As far as we have been told, Jitendra Singh might also be present there, and whatever is discussed will be shared with you."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the development and wished Wangchuk a speedy recovery. He urged the activist to follow medical advice and regain the weight he had lost during the prolonged fast.
The Prime Minister also reiterated that the government was taking strict action against those involved in examination paper leaks.
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke expressed relief that Wangchuk had ended his fast and praised him for his courage and sacrifice.
However, Dipke said the peaceful protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar would continue until Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned. He maintained that ending the hunger strike did not mean the broader movement had concluded.
