New Delhi: On September 29, Delhi and its surrounding areas will experience partly cloudy skies. While heavy rain is unlikely, light drizzle is possible on September 30 and October 1. Temperatures are expected to hover between 36 and 38 degrees Celsius, leading to hot and humid conditions.
Dry weather is expected in most parts of Uttar Pradesh for the time being, meaning rain is unlikely. However, some districts in eastern Uttar Pradesh may experience light rain in the next 2–3 days.
Meteorologists predict light showers around Dussehra, but heavy rain is unlikely. Daytime temperatures are expected to remain normal or slightly higher, leading to a humid heatwave.

Humidity has been troubling people in Bihar for the past week. Relief is not expected for the next two days. However, good rainfall is expected between October 1 and 4.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall is also predicted in some places on October 3 and 4. This means the weather may change in the first week of October, bringing some relief from the heat.
The weather in Uttarakhand will be mostly clear or partly cloudy on September 29. Light showers may occur in the higher elevations, but widespread rainfall is not expected.

It is worth noting that Uttarakhand has suffered significant damage this year due to heavy rains and cloudbursts, resulting in numerous deaths and hundreds displaced.
According to the Meteorological Department, a low-pressure area has formed over West Vidarbha and North Central Maharashtra, the effects of which will be visible in the coming days. This could lead to heavy rainfall in Gujarat, Central Maharashtra, and Konkan.
