Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Gandhinagar on Tuesday, the second day of his two-day Gujarat tour, where he participated in a grand ceremony organized on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of urban development, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

PM Modi laid the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 5,536 crore. The Prime Minister also formally launched the 'Urban Development Year 2025' on this occasion.

Ceremony At Mahatma Mandir

The program started with a road show in Gandhinagar, where PM Modi was warmly welcomed. After this, he participated in a special ceremony organized at Mahatma Mandir and dedicated many important projects to the country. These projects included flagging off the Vande Bharat Express between Veraval and Ahmedabad and the launch of the Valsad-Dahod Express train.

Why 26 May For PM Gujarat Visit?

On 26 May Narendra Modi has completed 11 years as Prime Minister. On this day in 2014, he took oath as Prime Minister for the first time.

During his visit, he has address a number of rallies at many places from Vadodara to Bhuj and dedicated development projects worth more than Rs 82,950 crore in his home state Gujarat.

This visit of PM Modi has taken place just after 'Operation Sindoor', in which India gave a befitting reply to the Pahalgam terror attack by carrying out surgical strikes on terrorist camps in Pakistan. In this context, the Prime Minister gave a clear warning to Pakistan from Bhuj in Kutch. He said, 'Live a happy life, eat roti, otherwise Modi's bullet is there.' This statement made it clear that there is not going to be any leniency in India's policy against terrorism.

IMF Aid To Pakistan Is Negligible

In his speech, the Prime Minister also said that the financial aid that Pakistan has received from the IMF is negligible in front of India's development projects. He expressed pride in India becoming the fourth largest economy of the world and called it a collective success of the countrymen.

The PM gave a strong message to Pakistan from his home state

The selection of 26 May as the date for this visit of the Prime Minister was also important from a strategic point of view - on the one hand it underlines the achievements of his 11 years of Prime Ministership, while on the other hand, through 'Operation Sindoor', he gave a strong message to Pakistan from his home state.

Symbol Of Development Gifts To Gujarat

This Gujarat visit of PM Modi has become a symbol of new gifts of development as well as the policy of zero tolerance against terrorism. From his home state, he gave the message to the country that India is now not only a leader in development, but will also not make any kind of compromise in matters of security and sovereignty.
