New Delhi: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh shared important information about Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha and said that after the precise strikes by the Indian Air Force on several airbases in Pakistan on May 10, Pakistan accepted defeat and offered a ceasefire.

Operation Sindoor halted, not ended

Pakistan's Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) contacted and requested India to stop its military action. India accepted the proposal on the condition that if Pakistan again dares to do something in the future, then India can resume this operation. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also stated that India accepted that Operation Sindoor has been only postponed, not ended.

Trump's claims are bogus

US President Donald Trump has claimed many times that the conflict between India and Pakistan ended due to his efforts, but the Indian government has always denied these claims. The opposition questioned the government on this issue, but Rajnath Singh clarified that India's action was completely independent and was not done under any external pressure.

Opposition Rebuttal

The defense minister gave a befitting reply to the opposition and said that their questions do not reflect national sentiments. He said, "The opposition asks how many of our planes fell, but they do not ask how many terrorist hideouts we destroyed." He stressed that the main objective of Operation Sindoor was to get justice for the victims of the Pahalgam attack, not to wage war or capture territory.

The Indian Army executed Operation Sindoor in a coordinated manner

Rajnath Singh said that in this operation, the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy worked in a coordinated manner and gave a befitting reply to every activity of Pakistan. He claimed that more than 100 terrorists were killed in this operation, and this number could be even higher. Operation Sindoor proved that India will now adopt not only a defensive but also an offensive strategy against terrorism.

The most important aspect of this operation was that it was carried out entirely based on the planning and capability of the Indian military forces. The government had given complete freedom to the army to choose its targets and destroy them. This gave a message to Pakistan that India will no longer ignore terrorist incidents and will give a befitting reply to every attack.

Operation Sindoor not only demonstrated India's military might, but it also became a symbol of the country's strong will. It made it clear that India would no longer tolerate terrorism sponsored by Pakistan.
