Nitin Nabin Holds Key Meeting With BJP’s New national Office-Bearer; Poll Strategy, Youth Outreach In Agenda

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin on Saturday chaired his first meeting with the party’s newly appointed national office-bearers at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi.

The meeting focused on strengthening the party organisation, expanding grassroots reach and preparing strategies for upcoming electoral challenges. Youth outreach and better communication of government initiatives were among the key issues discussed.

Assembly Elections in Focus

The BJP leadership is expected to discuss preparations for upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Manipur and Goa, which are scheduled to take place early next year.

Party leaders are also likely to focus on strengthening booth-level networks and improving coordination between the central leadership and state units.

Nitin Nabin is expected to hold further meetings with BJP state presidents, state in-charges and chief ministers of BJP-ruled states as part of the organisational strategy.

BJP’s New Team Has 65 Office-Bearers

The meeting comes days after the BJP announced Nitin Nabin’s new team, which includes 65 national office-bearers.

The revamped team has 13 national vice presidents, including former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia, former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat and Ram Madhav.

BL Santosh will continue as national general secretary (organisation), while Shivprakash and Saudan Singh have been appointed as national joint general secretaries (organisation).

The party has also appointed several national general secretaries, including Vinod Tawde, Sunil Bansal, Biplab Kumar Deb, Smriti Irani, Satish Poonia, Gajendra Patel, Harish Dwivedi and Sanjay Bhatia.

Focus on Organisation and Digital Outreach

As part of the reshuffle, Deepak Mhaskey has been appointed head of the BJP’s IT department, replacing Amit Malviya. Hemang Joshi has been named BJP Yuva Morcha president, replacing Lok Sabha MP Tejasvi Surya.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the newly appointed office-bearers and said the new team combines organisational experience, energy and grassroots connect.
