Colombo: The ICC Women's ODI World Cup 2025 is scheduled to begin from today 30 september. In the tournament a total of eight teams participating. India and Sri Lanka are co-hosting this World Cup tournament. The first match will be played today between India and Sri Lanka. The ODI World Cup is played in a round-robin format, so a match between India and Pakistan is certain.
The Women's ODI World Cup 2025 will be played in a round-robin format. All eight teams will face each other once in the league stage. The top four teams in the standings will qualify for the knockout stage. The teams will then advance through the semi-finals to reach the final, which will be played on November 2nd.
The Indian team will play its first match today, 30th September, against Sri Lanka. October 5th will be a special day for Team India, as it will also feature India and Pakistan.

The Indian team will face South Africa on October 9th, Australia on October 12th, and England on October 19th. They will face New Zealand on October 23rd, and India's final league stage match will be against Bangladesh on October 26th.
