New Delhi: In the third ODI match between India and Australia, former Team India captain Rohit Sharma once again showed the magic of his bat.
After scoring a brilliant half-century in the second ODI, he maintained his rhythm at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) and created a new record by playing an excellent innings.
During this match, Rohit Sharma completed 2500 runs in ODI cricket against Australia, which is a big achievement for any batsman. He has become the second Indian batsman after Sachin Tendulkar to touch this milestone.

Sachin Tendulkar had scored 3077 runs in 71 matches against Australia, whereas Rohit achieved this figure in just 49 matches. This shows how consistently he has performed against a strong team like Australia.
Rohit made a big achievement not only in batting but also in fielding. He completed 100 catches in ODI cricket, due to which he joined the exclusive club of select players of India.

Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) has always been lucky for Rohit Sharma. Before this match, he had scored 333 runs in 5 innings at an average of 66.60 and a strike rate of 88.80. These include one century (133) and two half-centuries. His consistency shows that he understands the conditions of this ground very well.
Indian bowlers also performed amazingly in this match. The Australian team was all out for 236 runs in 46.4 overs. Fast bowler Harshit Rana took the maximum of four wickets.
