Assam EVM issue: ECI suspended four officers, orders for repoll
The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Friday suspended four officials deputed in Assam’s Karimganj, after they were found transporting an EVM in Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Krishnendu Paul 's vehicle.

Last night a polled EVM was being taken in Patharkandi, Assam when crowd intercepted it as car didn't belong to EC. As per sources, EC car broke down&officials took lift in a car later identified to be of a BJP candidate. pic.twitter.com/b3g7HoCMdm
