Cricket lovers saw some records getting made on Wednesday as Mumbai Indians put a brake on Chennai Super Kings' winning streak at Wankhede Stadium as they beat the visitors by 37 runs.

Mumbai: In the 15th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), cricket lovers saw some records getting made on Wednesday as Mumbai Indians put a brake on Chennai Super Kings' winning streak at Wankhede Stadium as they beat the visitors by 37 runs.

Mumbai Indians accomplished century of victories
With this victory, Mumbai Indians registered their 100th victory in the IPL registered their 100th victory in the  and became the first franchise to do so.

The team completed this milestone in their 175th match while the losing side stood second with most victories standing at 93 wins followed by Kolkata Knight Riders with 88 wins.

Dwayne Bravo's 100 wickets for Chennai
Dwayne Bravo completed his 100 wickets for the yellow army in the IPL. However, he also became the player with most expensive over in this season as he gave out 29 runs in the final over of the inning. Apart from that, this is the highest number of runs conceded by a CSK bowler in an over.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni completed his 4000 runs for Chennai:
CSK captain, MS Dhoni completed his 4000 runs mark for CSK. Also, the 37-year old is also just nine sixes away from touching the 200 sixes mark and will vie Mr 360, AB de Villiers, who has 192 sixes under his belt, to put himself on the second position. While the first position is clasped by Chris Gayle who has 302 sixes.

CSK will next take on Kings XI Punjab on April 6 at 4 pm while MI will face Sunrisers Hyderabad on the same day at 8 pm. (ANI)
