Punjab: 2 drug peddlers held in Phagwara
The two were arrested with 10 gram heroin at a check-post near Sunra Rajputan village and other at check-post near Darveshpind village on Phagwara-Jandiala road.
Phagwara: Two drug peddlers were arrested today with 20 gram heroin from different locations near here, the police said.
Police has identified the duo as Sagar Thapar and Gobinda, both belonging to Balmiki locality.
While Thapar was arrested with 10 gram heroin at a check-post near Sunra Rajputan village, Gobinda was arrested with 10 gram heroin at a check-post near Darveshpind village on Phagwara-Jandiala road, they said.
Both were arrested under relevant sections of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act. (PTI)
