New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated Nitin Nabin on assuming charge as the new national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), describing the moment as a celebration of the party’s democratic and organisational strength.

Addressing party leaders and workers at the BJP headquarters, PM Modi remarked humorously that while he may be the Prime Minister of India, within the party framework “Nitin Nabin is my boss and I am a BJP worker,” drawing loud applause from the gathering.
