Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav has made a major statement amid the political turmoil in Uttar Pradesh. He made it clear that the SP will contest the upcoming assembly elections in alliance with the INDIA alliance. His statement marks a new turning point in Uttar Pradesh politics.

Akhilesh Yadav said that the people of Uttar Pradesh want change, and the opposition will unite to achieve this. He said that the BJP government's policies have weakened the country economically and socially, so now a coalition is the only option.

Targeting the government on economic issues

Akhilesh launched a scathing attack on the central government's economic policies. He said: The rupee has crossed 90. Inflation is continuously rising. Unemployment is at its peak.

He claims that the problems of the common man have increased under BJP rule, and the government is trying to divert attention from these issues.

The SIR Controversy and Allegations of Vote Cutting

Akhilesh Yadav leveled serious allegations against the Election Commission and the BJP regarding the SIR process.

He alleged that: Votes are being cut on a large scale. This is a "conspiracy" by the BJP and the administration. The SIR process should have been simplified. The exclusion of Aadhaar is suspicious.
