Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has carried out a major administrative reshuffle in the police department by transferring 20 senior IPS officers. The move is aimed at strengthening law and order, improving governance, and enhancing administrative efficiency across the state.

According to the transfer orders issued by the Home Department, several officers holding key positions at the level of Additional Director General of Police (ADG), Inspector General of Police (IG), and Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) have been assigned new responsibilities.
