SP Injured After Heavy Object Falls on Head, Gets 8 Stitches; Condition Stable, DM Visits

Maharajganj: Superintendent of Police Shakti Mohan Awasthi in Maharajganj was injured on Wednesday afternoon after a heavy object fell on his head. The incident reportedly occurred around 2 PM when an item kept on top of an almirah suddenly slipped and hit him, causing a serious head injury, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Immediate Medical Response

He was immediately taken to a private hospital for treatment. Doctors provided primary care and stitched his wound, requiring a total of eight stitches. After nearly an hour of treatment, he was discharged from the hospital. His condition is currently stable and he is said to be out of danger.

Upon receiving information about the incident, District Magistrate Santosh Kumar Sharma visited the hospital to check on his condition. Several administrative officials and police personnel also expressed concern and wished him a speedy recovery.

Current Health Condition

The incident briefly created concern within the police department, but doctors later confirmed that his condition is normal, bringing relief to everyone.
