Bus catches fire in Balrampur killing three
Balrampur: At least three passengers were burnt alive and over 20 severely injured as a Delhi-bound private bus caught fire after colliding with a truck loaded with garments in Balrampur district late on Monday, said a police official on Tuesday.
The incident occurred when the bus was going to Delhi from Sonauli border.
According to reports some Nepalese nationals were also there in the bus. But the exact number of passengers in the bus was not immediately clear
Balrampur SP, Vikas Kumar, while talking to media, said, "There was an accident between a bus and a truck, due to which the bus caught fire. Prima facie, the fire originated in the bus's fuel tank. However, the actual causes of the fire are being investigated...."
