Video: Crocodile enters village near Chambal river, Rescued by forest team

Prajapur: A crocodile entered Prajapur village on Sunday morning, creating panic among the residents. Farmer Jal Singh saw the crocodile stuck in the mud outside his house when he went out to his field. Shocked and scared, he quickly informed his family and other villagers, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

As people gathered, the crocodile suddenly moved toward them, causing fear. The villagers immediately informed the forest department. A rescue team arrived and, with help from the locals, safely captured the crocodile after several hours of effort. It was later released back into the Chambal River.

Villagers believe the crocodile came from the river due to rising water levels in the area. This timely rescue prevented a possible accident.

There is still fear in the village, and residents have asked the local administration to alert people living near the river and increase patrolling to prevent such dangerous situations in the future
