Royal Enfield Enters EV Segment with Flying Flea C6 & S6
New Delhi: Royal Enfield is launching its most aggressive product launch strategy yet in the Indian market over the coming 12 months. The company has officially confirmed four new motorcycles, including two new 650cc premium bikes and two modern electric models. With these launches, the company will not only expand its portfolio but also strengthen its hold in the premium bike market.
The most talked-about bike is the new Bullet 650, which will add a new dimension to the company's 650cc portfolio. This bike is based on its classic minimalist retro design—the round headlamp, pinstripe fuel tank, and heavy metal body give it a true vintage Bullet feel. Powered by a 648cc parallel-twin engine, it produces around 47 bhp of power and over 52 Nm of torque. The 6-speed gearbox and slip-assist clutch give it a modern feel. It is expected to be priced around ₹3.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
The company introduced the Classic 650 125th Anniversary Edition at EICMA 2025 to commemorate its 125th anniversary. Its distinctive "Hypershift" paint finish alternates between red and gold. The styling remains premium, and it features the same 648cc twin engine. This anniversary edition is specifically designed for collectors and premium segment riders.
Along with premium petrol bikes, Royal Enfield is now entering the EV segment. The company's first electric motorcycle will be the Flying Flea C6, inspired by the historic paratrooper bike. Its lightweight aluminum frame, compact battery case, and neo-retro design make it unique. The girder-style front setup and clean body lines distinguish it from all existing Royal Enfield models. Production will begin in late fiscal 2026.
Following the C6, the company will introduce the Flying Flea S6, a scrambler-style EV based on the same platform. It has been designed to be more adventure-focused, featuring longer suspension travel, a stronger frame, and dual-purpose tires. It was showcased at EICMA 2025 and MotoVerse, and is expected to launch by the end of 2026. The S6 will use the same battery technology as the C6.
Four new bikes—two 650cc premium and two electric—reflect the company's big strategy for the coming year. Tradition, power, technology, and the future—all four elements will be reflected in this launch lineup. Royal Enfield is poised to take its position in the Indian premium motorcycle market to the next level.
