Bihar: Two women killed, 2 injured due to lightning strikes in Kaimur

The first incident is from Sikthi village of Bhabua police station area. Where 70-year-old Kashmira Kunwar, wife of late Hira Gond, died due to lightning. She was going to plant paddy in the village’s wasteland.

Patna: Lightning strikes during monsoon storms killed two people and injured 2 in Bihar's Kaimur on Friday.

The mood of the weather has changed in the district for the last three days. It rained continuously from Wednesday morning till late night. After this, the weather remained the same on Thursday as well. On Friday morning, the weather changed a bit. But in the afternoon, the weather changed and there was light rain at some places and lightning also struck during this time. Two women died due to lightning at three places in the district. While one woman and one girl got burnt.

She was going to plant paddy in the village's wasteland. Meanwhile, light rain started on the way and lightning struck. She died due to which she was hit. While the second incident is from Bhadaura village of Chainpur police station area.

Earlier incident in Vaishali

The havoc of lightning continues in Bihar. 14 more people have died due to lightning. On Wednesday, the weather turned bad and people lost their lives due to lightning. Accidents have occurred in different districts of Bihar. Four people, including two youths playing cricket in Vaishali, have died. Along with this, there was chaos in Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Sheikhpura and Aurangabad due to lightning.

4 people have died due to lightning accompanied by strong thunder in Vaishali, while 6 people have been burnt, who are being treated in various hospitals. The death of two youths playing cricket created chaos in the family. The youths were playing cricket in Chandpura village of Raghopur police station area. During this time, they got struck by lightning.

6 people got burnt: The deceased youth has been identified as 18-year-old Vipin Kumar, resident of Shrirampur of Raghopur police station area and 20-year-old Vijay Kumar, resident of Chandpura. Three youths including Mukul Kumar, Prince Kumar who were seriously burnt are being treated in the hospital. According to the information received, all the youths were playing cricket in Chandpura of Raghopur police station area. Then lightning struck amidst heavy storm and rain.
