Lucknow: 11 senior IPS officers have been transferred in Uttar Pradesh.

Tarun Gauba has been appointed the new IG of Lucknow Range in place of Upendra Agarwal.

Gauba has been the IG of Lucknow Range before. Currently, he is on the post of Police Commissioner in Prayagraj.

Here is the full list according to Dynamite News correspondent:

Tarun Gauba (IPS-2001) was currently posted as Commissioner of Police in Prayagraj has been appointed as Inspector General of Police, Lucknow Zone.

Avnish Kumar (IPS-2001) has been transferred from Inspector General of Police, Lucknow to Additional Director General of Police (Police Headquarters, Lucknow).

Sudhakar Aswal (IPS-2005) has been transferred from Inspector General of Police, Lucknow Zone.

Gaurav Kumar (IPS-2007) was currently Inspector General of Police, Varanasi, will be Commissioner of Police (Prayagraj).

Rajesh Singh has been made Additional Commissioner of Police (Kanpur).

Amit Srivastava (IPS-2010) will now be Additional Commissioner of Police (Varanasi Administration and Crime).

Roopesh Kumar (IPS-2010) has now become Deputy Inspector General of Police, Administration Headquarters.

Hemant Kutiyal (IPS-2011) was currently Special Inspector General of Police, has now become Inspector General of Police (Law and Order, Headquarters).

Ram Badan Singh (IPS-2011) has now been appointed Additional Commissioner of Police (Kanpur).

Prem Prakash Yadav (IPS-2014) has been appointed Superintendent of Police, 24th Battalion PAC Azamgarh.

Dharamveer Singh (IPS-2015) has been appointed Superintendent of Police, 23rd Battalion PAC Moradabad.
