

In a series of high-octane operations, Bulandshahr Police launched multiple encounters against criminals involved in loot, murder, and attacks on police personnel. Three offenders were injured across separate gunfights.

Bulandshahr: In a series of swift and coordinated operations, Bulandshahr Police cracked down criminals involved in loot, murder, and attacks on police personnel, injuring three notorious criminals in separate encounters and recovering arms, ammunition, and stolen property.
In the first major action, Khurja Nagar police arrested two dreaded criminals, Ashraf and Faheem alias Bawla, after an encounter near Kailash Hospital on NH-34. The duo was wanted in the loot case involving Pawan Kumar, nephew of former BJP MLA Vijendra Singh, who was robbed four days ago.

Both Ashraf and Faheem sustained bullet injuries during the gunfight and were admitted to hospital. Police recovered ₹7,000 in cash, two country-made pistols (.315 bore), four live cartridges, two empty shells, a Splendor bike, and two mobile phones from their possession. According to police records, Ashraf faces nine criminal cases, while Faheem is accused in six serious cases including loot, theft, NDPS violations, and vehicle theft.
Murder accused Fardeen nabbed after gunfight
In the second operation, Kotwali Nagar police and the SWAT team arrested Fardeen, wanted in the sensational daylight murder of history-sheeter Naif on September 30 at a photo studio on Kachhari Road.
Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted Fardeen near the DAV flyover close to the railway station. Cornered, he opened fire at the police team but was injured in retaliatory firing. A country-made pistol and cartridges were seized from him. Police said his arrest marks a major breakthrough in solving the high-profile murder case.

Woman police team attacked, one criminal injured
The third encounter took place near Aroli canal in Dehat Kotwali area, where police intercepted two bike-borne criminals during vehicle checking. The accused opened fire on the Mission Shakti women police team. In retaliatory firing, one criminal, Shadab, was injured while his accomplice managed to flee.
From Shadab’s possession, police recovered a pistol, cartridges, three looted mobile phones, and a bike. He has been admitted to the district hospital, and efforts are underway to track down his absconding partner.
