Sanjay Singh raised the question on the murder of Dularchand Yadav with several attacks and stone-pelting during his last rites.
While talking to reporters the AAP MP said, "Even when Dularchand Yadav's body was being taken for last rites, attacks were still taking place, stone-pelting and firing incidents were being reported."
Singh questioned if such incidents are reflecting the good administrations and governance in Bihar? I leave it to the people of Bihar to decide.
He said, "Bihar's people should be deciding whether this is good governance or a bad one?"
Dularchand Yadav, a Jan Suraj Party supporter, was shot dead in Mokama, Bihar, bringing to light the state's electoral violence. An FIR has been filed against four people, including former MLA Anant Singh, in connection with the incident.
Locals are calling the incident reminiscent of "jungle raj," and political rivalry is being cited as the primary reason. The Mokama area is already notorious for crime and shootings, and this latest incident reinforces the region's troubled landscape.
The incident has sparked a heated exchange of accusations between JDU heavyweight Anant Singh, Jansuraj founder Prashant Kishor, and RJD's Suraj Bhan Singh. The Jansuraj Party has accused the state administration of failure, and a representative said it "shows the 'jungle raj' that was talked about in Bihar... it's a reflection of that."
