The 17 political parties related to Bihar on which the Election Commission has taken action include Bharatiya Backward Party of Patna, Bharatiya Suraj Dal, Bharatiya Yuva Party (Democratic), Bharatiya Janata Sanatan Dal of Buxar, Bihar Janata Party of Saran, Desi Kisan Party of Gaya, Gandhi Prakash Party of Bhabua (Kaimur), Himadri Janrakshak Samajwadi Vikas Party (Jansevak) of Buxar, Krantikari Samajwadi Party of Patna, Krantikari Vikas Dal, Lok Awaaz Dal, Democratic Samta Dal, National Janata Party (Indian) of Bhagwanpur (Vaishali), Rashtriya Jan Congress of Patna, Rashtriya Sarvodaya Party, Sarvajan Kalyan Democratic Party and Vyavasayi Kisan Minority Morcha of Jamui.
