Christmas Spirit Fills Delhi as Devotees Gather at Churches
New Delhi: On the occasion of Christmas 2025, Delhi, the national capital, is completely immersed in the festive spirit. Major churches in the city have been specially decorated, and an atmosphere of light, prayer, and joy prevails everywhere. A large crowd of devotees is being seen at churches in GPO, Lodhi Road, Saket, Vasant Kunj, and Old Delhi.

Special prayer services are being held in the churches on the occasion of Christmas. A large number of devotees arrived at the GPO Church from early morning, including tourists from other states besides Delhi. Long queues were also seen at the Lodhi Road Church, where people were seen lighting candles with their families and praying for peace and prosperity.
Due to Christmas, small markets have also sprung up outside the churches. Santa Claus hats, Christmas trees, decorative stars, candles, and other decorative items are being sold in large quantities in these markets. Children, especially, were seen wearing Santa Claus costumes and were full of enthusiasm.

This year, Delhi residents are getting a special Christmas experience. Worldmark Aerocity has been grandly decorated under the theme of 'A Very London Christmas'. A 25-foot-tall installation inspired by Piccadilly Circus, a London double-decker bus, Victorian-style decorations, telephone boxes, and fairy lights are giving people the feeling of being on the streets of London.
Throughout the complex, people were seen taking pictures with their families and friends. Amidst the lights, music, and decorations, the Christmas spirit in Delhi is at its peak, and the capital city is brimming with joy.
