New Delhi: The second week of September has brought rain for many parts of the country. Due to the low-pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal, the monsoon has become active again, and its effect is clearly visible on the weather across the country. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rain in many states, which may affect normal life and the traffic system.
The maximum impact of this system formed in the Bay of Bengal will be seen in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Telangana, Maharashtra, and the northeastern states. Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in these areas for the next few days. At the same time, strong winds will blow at a speed of 30-50 km/h in the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, and it will also rain.

This week can bring relief from heat and humidity for Delhiites. Light rain and drizzle are expected in the capital on Saturday and Sunday. IMD predicts more thunderstorms and heavy rain in Delhi
A heavy rain alert has been issued in Mumbai and suburbs on September 14 and 15. This may affect local train services and traffic. Light rain and showers will continue from September 16 to 19, while heavy rains may occur again on September 20 and 21.
There is an alert of heavy to very heavy rains in Odisha, coastal Andhra, and Yanam on September 13. A torrential rain warning has also been issued in Telangana till September 14. Heavy rains are expected in Maharashtra from September 13 to 15.
Rain continues in Bihar and Jharkhand. Two flights had to be diverted from Ranchi Airport. Life has been affected due to continuous rain. According to the Meteorological Department, rain will continue till September 15, after which the weather is likely to improve.

Heavy rain is forecast in 19 districts of Telangana. An orange alert has been issued in the Nirmal, Nizamabad, Sangareddy, Medak, and Kamareddy districts, while a yellow alert has been issued in 14 districts, including Hyderabad and Adilabad. Moderate to heavy rain with thunderstorms is expected here in the next 24 hours.
