New Delhi: The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the transfer of 21 high court judges. Also, it has been recommended to send some judges back to their original high court.
This decision of the Collegium is an important change in the judiciary. This will affect the functioning of the judges, reports Dynamite News correspondent. The Supreme Court Collegium, in a meeting held on Monday, has recommended the transfer and repatriation of 21 judges while making extensive reshuffles in the High Courts across the country.

This step has been taken with the aim of maintaining administrative efficiency and institutional balance in the higher judiciary. This meeting of the Collegium was chaired by the Chief Justice of India, Justice B.R. Gavai. These transfers will be implemented after getting the approval of the central government.
These recommendations are subject to approval by the Union Government. Once approved, the judges will be relieved from their current postings and assume duties at their new High Courts in due course.
