Mainpuri: Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav launched a scathing attack on the UP government during an exclusive interview with Dyanamite News in Mainpuri, raising concerns over inflation, rising electricity costs, deteriorating law and order, flaws in the education system, and alleged corruption in development projects.
Her remarks have sparked fresh political debate across the state.
Inflation and Electricity Charges in the Crosshairs
Targeting the government's economic policies, Dimple Yadav said that the prices of petrol, LPG cylinders, and electricity have continued to rise, placing an increasing burden on ordinary citizens.
She alleged that no significant new power generation plants have been established over the past eight to nine years, forcing authorities to procure costly electricity from other states. According to her, the financial burden of these decisions is ultimately being passed on to consumers through higher electricity bills.
Sharp Criticism of Law and Order
The SP leader also questioned the state government's handling of law and order, claiming that incidents of crime and murder are increasing across Uttar Pradesh. Referring to several recent cases highlighted in media reports, she expressed concern over women's safety and alleged that delays in registering FIRs continue to undermine public confidence in the justice system.
Education System and Examination Controversies
Addressing education-related issues, Dimple Yadav pointed to controversies surrounding the NEET examination paper leak and concerns over the CBSE online marking system.
She argued that such irregularities are putting students' futures at risk and accused the government of failing to take adequate corrective measures.

Political Distractions Versus Public Concerns
Commenting on debates surrounding 'Vande Mataram' and other political controversies, Yadav said such issues are being used to divert public attention from more pressing concerns. She emphasized that reservation, the status of Shiksha Mitras, employment opportunities, and women's safety deserve greater focus and action from the government.
Allegations of Corruption and Administrative Negligence
Citing incidents including the Hamirpur bridge collapse and a murder case in Ghaziabad, she alleged that corruption and negligence are increasingly visible in development projects and governance. She argued that the government must be held accountable for ensuring both public safety and transparent implementation of infrastructure projects.
Concluding her remarks, Dimple Yadav claimed that people are facing mounting challenges related to employment, inflation, and personal security, and called for greater government accountability in addressing these concerns.
