Inheriting the legacy from the Mainpuri seat
The Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat has been a traditional seat for the Samajwadi Party. Mulayam Singh Yadav was elected MP from this seat several times. After his death, Dimple Yadav contested and won the election from this seat, continuing the family's political legacy.
Earlier, Dimple Yadav was also the SP candidate in the Mainpuri Lok Sabha by-election held in December 2022.

Total assets worth approximately Rs 15.50 crore
According to the affidavit filed during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Dimple Yadav's total assets are approximately Rs 15.50 crore. In the affidavit submitted during the December 2022 by-election, her movable and immovable assets were stated to be Rs 14 crore 32 lakh.
Thus, her assets have increased by approximately Rs 1 crore 18 lakh within 17 months.
No car, but a fondness for jewelry
Dimple Yadav does not own a car, but she has a fondness for jewelry. According to the affidavit, she has Rs 5,72,447 in cash. In addition, she owns more than 2.774 kilograms of gold jewelry.
She also possesses 127.75 carats of diamonds, with an estimated value of approximately Rs 60 lakh. She also owns 203 grams of pearls.
Other assets and liabilities
