UPDESCO Seeks Suggestions on Draft RFP for Statewide Digital Network
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh government undertaking U.P. Development Systems Corporation Limited (UPDESCO) has taken a major step toward strengthening digital connectivity in the state. UPDESCO has invited opinions and suggestions on the draft Request for Proposal (RFP) prepared for the UPSWAN 3.0 project.
UPSWAN 3.0 will establish a "One State, One Network." The project aims to expand high-speed network connectivity beyond the existing 1,348 Points of Presence (PoPs) in the state to an additional 57,700 Gram Panchayats. This will help in digitally delivering government services to every village.
UPDESCO has issued an Expression of Interest (EOI) for this project, inviting interested parties to submit their views and suggestions on the draft RFP. The EOI document has been made available on the e-procurement portal.
