Patna: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has launched its campaign for 132 seats, announced so far.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh, while campaigning for Dr Meera Singh in Begusarai, questioned the deteriorating law and order situation in Bihar. He highlighted citing the recent Mokama murder case. He also showed his concern about the open display of weapons during this election time.

Singh said that when all the weapons are submitted to the Police during election time, how some people can roam freely with deadly weapons?

Sanjay Singh On Mokama Murder Case

Sanjay Singh raised the question on the murder of Dularchand Yadav with several attacks and stone-pelting during his last rites.

While talking to reporters the AAP MP said, "Even when Dularchand Yadav's body was being taken for last rites, attacks were still taking place, stone-pelting and firing incidents were being reported."

Singh questioned if such incidents are reflecting the good administrations and governance in Bihar? I leave it to the people of Bihar to decide.

He said, "Bihar's people should be deciding whether this is good governance or a bad one?"

Mokama Murder Case: Backgrounder

Dularchand Yadav, a Jan Suraj Party supporter, was shot dead in Mokama, Bihar, bringing to light the state's electoral violence. An FIR has been filed against four people, including former MLA Anant Singh, in connection with the incident.

Locals are calling the incident reminiscent of "jungle raj," and political rivalry is being cited as the primary reason. The Mokama area is already notorious for crime and shootings, and this latest incident reinforces the region's troubled landscape.

Accusations And Counter-Accusations Begins

The incident has sparked a heated exchange of accusations between JDU heavyweight Anant Singh, Jansuraj founder Prashant Kishor, and RJD's Suraj Bhan Singh. The Jansuraj Party has accused the state administration of failure, and a representative said it "shows the 'jungle raj' that was talked about in Bihar... it's a reflection of that."
