Karnataka Police Take Action in Child Sexual Abuse Case
Hubli: Three minor boys have been detained in Hubli, Karnataka, for the prolonged sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl. Police have registered a case against them under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The accused boys are estimated to be between 14 and 15 years old.
Hubli-Dharwad Police Commissioner N. Sasikumar stated that the incident occurred while the girl's parents were at work. The accused sexually assaulted the girl repeatedly for about a week. Police have arrested the accused boys and the investigation is ongoing.
