Film ‘Udaipur Files’ will not be released for now; SC postponed the next hearing till 21 July

The Supreme Court, while hearing the matter related to ‘Udaipur Files’ today, has asked the producers to wait for the decision of the central government.

Mumbai: Vijay Raj's film 'Udaipur Files' is stuck in controversies. Now the Supreme Court has postponed the hearing related to the film till July 21. From which it is clear that now the release of 'Udaipur Files' has been postponed till July 21.

The court asked the central committee to take a decision soon

The Supreme Court, while hearing the matter related to 'Udaipur Files' today, has asked the producers to wait for the decision of the central government. Along with this, the court has also asked the central committee hearing the objections against 'Udaipur Files' to take an immediate decision on this matter. The apex court has also asked the central committee to hear the side of the accused in the Kanhaiya Lal murder case. The panel meeting is to be held today at 2:30 pm.

Supreme Court refuses to lift ban on release
During the hearing, the bench of Justice Suryakant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi made it clear that they will not give any final order at the moment and will wait for the opinion of the central government. From which it is clear that the court has refused to lift the ban on the release for now. The Supreme Court advised all the petitioners to first put their views before the Center and then wait. The bench of Justice Suryakant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi told the filmmakers that the accused in the Kanhaiya Lal Darji murder case cannot be compensated for the loss of reputation on the release of the film, but the filmmakers can be compensated financially.

Makers said I have the certificate of the Censor Board
The filmmaker said that he has the certificate of the Censor Board, in such a situation the High Court should not interfere in the release of the film. Along with this, he also told that the name of the film was something else earlier, which was later changed to 'Udaipur Files'. Senior advocate Kapil Sibal told the court that the film is the worst example of spreading hatred against a community and hence it should not be released.

The film producer said that he has the certificate of the censor board, so the High Court should not interfere in the release of the film.
