According to the report, out of the recent eight deaths, three occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where five people were also injured. At the same time, two deaths each occurred in Islamabad and Pakistan-occupied Gilgit-Baltistan, while one person died in Sindh.

Punjab province is the worst affected at the moment, where the highest number of 144 deaths and 488 injured have been recorded. After the recent floods in Rawalpindi, the district administration has declared 19 urban areas of the city as highly sensitive in terms of possible flash floods. Deputy Commissioner Hassan Waqar Cheema has appointed Assistant Commissioners, Tehsildars and departmental officers as monitoring officers in the concerned areas.

The new danger areas include New Qatarian, Lai Bridge, Bangash Colony, Ziaul Haq Colony, Boring Road, Peerwadahi Bridge, Dhok Naju, Dhok Dalal, Dhok Hasu Bridge, Hazara Colony, Dhok Ratta, Gwalmandi, Dhok Ilahi Bakhsh, Sadiqabad, Javed Colony, Nadeem Colony, Tahli Mohri, Jaan Colony, Tench Bhatta Last Stop, Banaras Colony and Sharon Colony (Sawan Camp).
