DMRC took cognizance and searched the coach

At the same time, DMRC also took cognizance of the incident and the coach was searched at Akshardham Metro Station, but the security officials did not see any snake in it.

However, DMRC said that it is more vigilant about the safety of metro passengers. He said that he is always ready to ensure that they do not face any inconvenience.

DMRC official Anuj Dayal said that a video is going viral in which the snake is not visible, but it is being claimed that a snake has been seen in the women's coach.

On receiving information from the passengers travelling in the coach on Thursday evening, DMRC took immediate action.

Lizard found in the coach after investigation: DMRC

He said that the train was evacuated at Akshardham Metro station and sent to the depot for thorough investigation.

Despite the concerned team checking the footage of the train and the coach in the depot, no snake was found.

However, a small lizard was seen during the inspection.

He said that DMRC gives priority to the safety of passengers and takes prompt action to resolve their problems.
