Delhi-NCR Weather

In the National Capital Region (Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram), humid heat has returned following the retreat of monsoon rains. The maximum temperature is forecast to hover between 34°C and 37°C, while the minimum will range from 23°C to 25°C. Rainfall chances remain very low, though partly cloudy skies are expected. Air Quality Index (AQI) levels in some parts of the region have been recorded in the “moderate” category, which may cause discomfort to sensitive groups.

Western and Eastern Uttar Pradesh

Western UP cities such as Noida, Agra, and Meerut will remain dry, with slightly above-normal daytime temperatures and a humid feel. In contrast, Eastern UP and Bundelkhand (including Lucknow and Prayagraj) may witness isolated light showers due to the formation of a low-pressure area. However, no heavy rainfall is expected. Daytime temperatures in these areas are likely to stay between 32°C and 34°C.

Himachal Pradesh is likely to see partly cloudy conditions, with occasional light rain in some upper areas, while the lower regions remain largely dry.

North India’s Weather Update: Heat Persists, Rain Likely in October

Popular tourist destinations such as Mussoorie, Nainital, Shimla, and Manali are likely to witness mostly clear or partly cloudy skies. Brief evening showers may occur, offering visitors a refreshing chill.

Outlook Post-Monsoon

With the withdrawal of monsoon, most plains in North India are set to experience warmer and more humid days, with daytime temperatures staying slightly above normal. Eastern UP and parts of the hill states, however, may continue to receive intermittent light showers in the days ahead.
