New Delhi: Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy lashed out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in a press conference. He accused Rahul Gandhi of deliberately avoiding the issue of electoral rigging in Andhra Pradesh while openly speaking on matters of Delhi and other states.

Reddy also indicated that incumbent Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is in touch with Rahul Gandhi through Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, raising suspicion of a secret pact between the TDP and the Congress.

Jagan Mohan Reddy questioned Rahul Gandhi's selective politics and asked why he is silent on Arvind Kejriwal's election defeat. He also asked why Rahul is not raising his voice when there is a huge difference of 12.5 percent between the declared and counted votes in Andhra Pradesh.

Reddy pointed out that the actual difference was only 2.5 percent, which is proof that there has been massive rigging in the election process. He called Rahul Gandhi 'untruthful' and said, 'How can a leader who himself is not honest protect the country's democracy?'

On the same day, Rahul Gandhi shared a controversial video on Twitter in which BJP workers were shown usurping the rights of voters in connivance with Election Commission officials.

In the video, a fictional character named 'Gareeb Das' was shown being deprived of his voting rights. Reacting to this, Reddy said that when Rahul Gandhi raises his voice on the imaginary matters of Delhi, why is he silent on the real problems of Andhra Pradesh?

Reddy called this matter a serious threat to democracy and said that it is the responsibility of the leaders to raise their voices to protect the voting rights of the people. He not only called this silence of Rahul Gandhi suspicious but also termed it as a serious negligence towards democratic values.

This entire controversy can create new tensions in the politics of Andhra Pradesh, especially when there is already a fierce rivalry between YSRCP and TDP in the state. Stay tuned to Dynamite News for further updates.
