A notorious gang member nabbed by Delhi Police
New Delhi: The Delhi Police apprehended Vikas, alias Bagga, a notorious member of the Anil Chippi and Kala Jatheri gangs in Dwarka here in Delhi after gunfire exchange during an encounter, reports Dynamite News correspondent.
The accused Vikas is a resident of Rohtak in Haryana. He was arrested after he opened fire on a police team that had laid a trap for him.
The information about his location was recieved that he would arrive at the Mangespur Drain Patri near the Dichaun-Hirankudana Road to meet another gang member to commit a crime. Immediately a police team was rushed at the spot for action. Ankit Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Dwarka said that as soon as the police team intercepted him, he started firing at the team.
Ankit Singh said, "The accused opened continuous fire on the police party and fired three rounds."
